As funding comes available, loans are for those in the unincorporated areas of Shasta County, the City of Anderson and the City of Shasta Lake. Offers the following programs: Shasta County Down Payment Assistance Program (DAP) - Loans for first-time, low-income, homebuyers. For those in unincorporated areas of Shasta County and City of Shasta Lake to help with down payment and closing costs. City of Anderson and City of Shasta Lake Homeowner Assistance Program - Loans for first-time, low-income homebuyers. For those in Anderson to help with down payment and closing costs. Shasta County Owner-occupied Housing Rehabilitation - Loans for low-income homeowners. For those in unincorporated areas of Shasta County to help with home repairs. City of Anderson and City of Shasta Lake Housing Rehabilitation Program - Loans for low-income homeowners in Anderson. Helps with home repairs. Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) - Accepts referrals from qualified agencies. Provides up to 12 months of temporary rental assistance for low-income households. Also provides assistance for Carr Fire Survivors who meet income eligibility requirements: CalHOME DR Program - Provides funding for tree removal and wildfire mitigation. Covers costs of other eligible expenses such as: Home replacement or repair Rebuilding fences Cost of permits, and fees associated with eligible repairs.
